3. Qualifications
(1) Research fellows are required to abide by laws of the China, observe the rules and regulations of the university, comply with the academic norms, display a rigorous attitude of scholarship, pay heed to teamwork, care for the students and the collective undertakings, uphold the reputation of the university, be dedicated and responsible, and possess the knowledge, capability and accomplishment required by the respective post.
(2) The distinguished research fellows and the associate researchers should meet at least one of the following qualifications:
a. have the prior experience of working as lecturers, assistant professors or taking equivalent or higher positions at domestic or overseas prestigious universities or research institutes
b. achieve excellence as doctors or post-doctors at domestic or overseas prestigious universities or research institutes
(3) The distinguished research fellows and the associate researchers should be in principle under 38 years of age.
4. Recruitment Procedures
(1) Sun Yat-sen University accepts applications on a long-term basis until the quotas are filled.
Submit individual application via email, accompanied by the following supporting documents: the completed Sun Yat-sen University Global Recruitment Application Form (click the website to download), copies of diplomas and degree certificates, certificates for professional and technical titles (or Letter of Appointment), awards and proof of prior job positions and letters of recommendation from academics.
